Aeramine has joined Mobilise 2026, the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK programme supporting early-stage businesses developing technology for cleaner transport. Following the cohort announcement on 10 August, APC put Aeramine in the spotlight in its LinkedIn post on 25 August.
Our focus is copper: taking material already in circulation and developing a route to higher-purity feedstock for demanding applications. APC's announcement identifies Aeramine's work to turn used copper into high-quality material for electric-vehicle components.
Giving UK scrap copper a new role
Copper is central to electrification. Aeramine's goal is to recover more value from UK scrap and help build a circular domestic supply of advanced copper materials. The potential benefits include less waste and reduced demand for newly extracted raw materials.
APC's spotlight also highlights the wider potential of our approach across clean energy, quantum computing and fusion. These opportunities reinforce the importance of developing the technology alongside a clear understanding of customer requirements.
Support from technology to market
Mobilise combines grant support with expert business mentoring and opportunities to connect with industry and investors. Its 12-month programme is organised around Market Focus and Technology Validation, helping participating businesses strengthen their commercial plans as they develop their technology.
For Aeramine, joining the cohort is an opportunity to connect our copper development work with the partners, customers and expertise needed to move it forward.
